Our Approach
Our philosophy is to gather evidence-based information from experts in various fields, including: educators, innovators, psychologists, environmentalists, holistic practitioners, social entrepreneurs, social business leaders, public health experts, scientists and many more. Knowledge is gathered through research, reports, electronic discussions, face-to-face meetings, hands on learning and practitioner experiences in implementation.

• Contribute to FutureCorps’ vision, mission, core values and program goals
• Research, learn, apply or partner to support those we serve
• Apply innovative ideas, providing community level or global solutions to seemingly intractable social, cultural, economic and/or environmental concerns
• Draw upon lessons from business and nonprofit worlds, crosses disciplines, fields, or theories, and has the potential to be replicated or adapted in various settings
Who We Are
FutureCorps is an umbrella for social good, working with innovative partners to empower children, youth and adults to reach their full potential, through grassroots systemic change.
Who We Serve
FutureCorps works across the United States, and supports creative partners in Mexico and Canada, helping all people regardless of age, gender, family structure, culture, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background or status, ability, and talent to have an equal opportunity to be successful.
What We Do
FutureCorps partners at all levels from the individual to community, from nonprofits, to governmental institutions, to for-profit organizations, and somewhere in between–gathering best practice from experts in various fields– to improve the quality of life for all, whether it be material, physical, educational, emotional, psychological, or social well-being.
Why We Serve
We serve because, together with our partners, we understand that a small group of thoughtful and committed people can truly make a difference. Creating a ‘butterly effect,’ we believe that all action no matter how large or how small, can build into a movement. Founded by five women, FutureCorps supports equality and justice for children and adults.
What We Care About
FutureCorps supports innovative programs in the following areas of social good… and beyond
Special needs and ‘at risk’ children or teens: building the capacity, self-confidence and life skills of children and teens who are diagnosed as having high functioning ASD (autism spectrum disorder), ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder), with learning or developmental delays, and/or with children and teens referred by professionals as being ‘at risk’ and in need of social skills.
Motivational teaching: supporting teachers with evidence-based learning strategies and approaches to help children/teens with various capabilities ranging from special needs to neuro-typical children who are ‘at risk’ and who need additional motivation to advance academically.
Nutrition and environmental health: supporting the general public with proven strategies and resources that help them avoid toxic ingredients in their food and household products.
Women’s empowerment: identifying and supporting programs that assist women who are economically, emotionally, or physically challenged and provide them with the opportunity to create a better life.
Economic development: identifying and supporting creative programs that provide support to help people lift themselves and their families out of poverty and homelessness.
Emotional, physical and social well-being: developing and supporting educational programs, particularly for children, teens and young adults that employ innovative approaches to address all areas of ‘wellness’ that are critical to leading successful and fulfilling lives.
Art, music and documentaries: using creative and informative documentary films and inspirational art and music programs to teach youth, the general public, corporations (through their social responsibility programs), and other non-governmental partners about important issues in areas that align with FutureCorps’ vision, mission, core values and approach.
Social business: supporting organizations that develop/build businesses not for the sake of profit, but for social good.
